Elm Tree Surgery started when Dr MacNamara moved to Elm Tree House in 1925. Dr Sparkes, Dr Watkins, Dr Dumughn and Dr Clements have since succeeded him and retired. The practice is largely rural covering an area of West Oxfordshire and North Wiltshire. Please see the Location for a map of the practice area. We were a fundholding practice from 1996-1999. We are now part of the Swindon Primary Care Trust.

In addition to the doctors shown on Our Team the current Primary Health Care Team comprises Practice Nurses, District Nurses, Health Visitors, Midwives, Community Psychiatric Nurses, a Psychologist, a Physiotherapist, a Dietician and a Counsellor.
